12-Week Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Program
The 12-week Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Program at Boardman Training Center is designed to prepare students for medical billing and coding careers in the Youngstown, New Castle, and Boardman areas. The program covers a wide range of topics, including extensive knowledge of the compliance of the auditing route of medical billing, a basic understanding of the coding system, and inpatient and outpatient coding to the new ICD-10 standards. Students will also be trained in medical claims fraud and abuse.
These medical billing and coding classes prepare students for certain National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certifications*. Students can obtain these credentials in less than a year without the stress of applying for and taking out student loans.
If you’re looking for a healthcare career that allows you to impact people’s lives positively, but you prefer not to have the responsibility of direct patient care, then this career path could be ideal for you. Request information today to learn more!
*Certification is contingent upon passing an industry certification exam.
