Steps to Enroll for Classes Now
To enroll for fall classes, first you need to request information. Call us at 330-729-9244, or come visit our location at 755 Boardman-Canfield Road, Building K West Suite 1, Boardman, OH 44512.
Next, you will talk with Nikki Granger, Admissions Advisor, on the phone so that she can help you complete the enrollment process. Nikki will schedule a time for you to come visit the campus for a brief interview, a tour of the facility, and the chance to meet faculty. Feel free to bring a family member or a friend to your campus visit!
After your campus visit to Boardman Training Center, you will need to fill out the registration form, provide a copy of your driver’s license, diploma, and shot records, and pay your fees. You are now officially registered for classes!
Now that you’re registered, it’s time to start your classes! Nikki will work with you to make sure you have everything you need for your classes, including scrubs, books, and supplies.
Healthcare Training Programs and Professional Certifications
Boardman Training Center programs are designed to jump start your healthcare career in just weeks, and students are prepared to sit for professional certifications that are valued by employers.
With our Phlebotomy Technician program, you will prepare for an exciting career as a phlebotomist and can sit for the Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification. You will learn essential hands-on skills such as various procedures for specimen collection, different types of skin puncture techniques, and how to use specimen collection equipment correctly.
Our EKG Technician program trains you in critical areas like how to use a heart monitor, how to identify normal and abnormal EKG recordings, and how to distinguish between basic dysrhythmias. As an EKG Technician, you will use these skills to help people in medical settings every day. You will be prepared to sit for the Certified EKG Technician certification.
In the Cardio-Phlebotomy program, you will prepare to sit for two certifications from the National Healthcareer Association, Certified Phlebotomy Technician and Certified EKG Technician. You will gain skills such as performing EKGs, drawing blood for testing, carrying out venipuncture procedures, controlling infections, and more.
The Medical Office Specialist program trains students in many areas that are critical to running a medical office, including recording vital signs, patient intake, charting, HIPAA, compliance, and insurance processing. Students are prepared to sit for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant, Certified Billing and Coding Specialist, and Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist certifications.
