Hands-On Skills

For students looking to enter a career in the healthcare field, choosing a program that allows them to gain experience quickly can significantly benefit them. At Boardman Training Center, students will gain valuable hands-on skills in their desired career field in a matter of weeks. Not only does this save the students valuable time and money, but they will also be prepared to enter the workforce with skills critical to their future careers. BTC students spend the majority of their time in school practicing the skills needed to do the job well.

Classroom Instruction

At Boardman Training Center, students can expect to learn the essential knowledge needed for their careers, then practice these skills using real-world medical equipment in our facilities. Not only does this prepare them for what they will encounter in their future careers, but it also allows them to become familiar with and practice proper medical equipment care under the observation of our experienced instructors. The instructors at BTC care about the success of each student and will work with them one-on-one to ensure they are getting the most out of their training experience.

Certification Preparation

Another major benefit of attending the Boardman Training Center is that industry-specific certification* preparation is incorporated directly into the curriculum. This means that at the end of their program, each student will be prepared to sit for the appropriate National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification* exam or exams. Healthcare employers can sometimes see hundreds of resumes for one specific position, but obtaining NHA certifications in a specific field can help you stand out among the crowd.

Student Success

Boardman Training Center’s core purpose is to empower change by creating opportunity, and each instructor, staff, and faculty member remains committed to this mission for every student every day. BTC aims to help every student achieve their dream of starting a new healthcare career. Our team is here to guide you through every step of your educational journey, from the first time you reach out to the day you receive your certificate of completion.
